Filmmaker Armando Iannucci’s comedy drama and David Copperfield’s personal story, with Hollywood star Dev Patel at the helm, will air on Nov.. December in India in cinemas.
The film in which Patel plays the title role is based on the 1850 literary classic David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.

The film will be released in the country by PVR Pictures, the multiplex chain said in a statement.
In addition to the Slumdog Millionaire star, Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton, Ben Whishaw and Benedict Wong can be seen in the film.
The comedy-drama revolves around Dickens’ legendary heroes and sails on a path that transitions from a destitute orphan to a thriving Victorian writer. His colorful experiences can ultimately be transferred to his works.
The personal story of David Copperfield had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2019.
