DECATUR, Tenn – Two people were killed when a school bus carrying children was involved in a serious freeway crash in eastern Tennessee on Tuesday, authorities said
Lt Bill Miller of the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed the crash and deaths, WZTV reported The crash happened near Decatur, near the county line between Meigs and Bradley counties east of Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reported Officials did not say whether those involved were adults or children
According to WDEF-TV, the Meigs County school bus collided with a utility vehicle on the highway

According to a statement from the Meigs County School Board, the Meigs County 12-1 bus was on its afternoon commute with children on board when the crash occurred, WZTV reported
