Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic wrote himself in Serie A history by being just the fourth player to win in the first six league games in the US of the season.
At 39, there were people who thought he was too old to play in one of the top leagues in Europe, but he started the season in extremely productive form.
On Sunday, he continued his six goals for the national team by opening the game against Napoli away from home and making him a select star club.
The Swede was after his start in the 20th. However, not finished in the minute, as he was in the 54th minute. Minute also scored a goal to get a 3-1 win.
The two goals gave Ibrahimovic another record: He is now the oldest player to have scored at least 10 goals in the first eight matchdays of Serie A..

Previously, there were only three other players to score in the first six Serie A games of the season.
Gabriel Batistuta from Fiorentina was the first to complete the feat in 1994-95 before Christian Vieri completed it with Inter in the 2002/03 season. Krzysztof Piatek then did it under Genoa’s colors in 2018-19.
Ibrahimovic’s run began on Jan.. September when he scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Bologna. His season was then interrupted when he missed a few games after contracting Covid-19.
When he returned to the field, he did so in a spectacular manner. Again he hit the target with a double, this time in the derby against Inter, and against Roma he scored another pair with a 3-3 draw.
The run continued into November when he scored a 2-1 win over Udinese and assisted. Before the international break, he met against Hellas Verona.
While it was fatal in Serie A, it wasn’t quite as effective in European football. He has played in all three group stage matches of the Milan Europa League, but so far has only had one support against Sparta Prague on the continent.
