World News – US – « Deadpool 3 »: Marvel Studios and Ryan Reynolds click on The Molyneux Sisters for sequel book

EXCLUSIVE: As Disney continues to figure out what to do with Fox properties gaining in the merger, Deadpool, one of the biggest IP addresses, appears to be gaining traction. Sources tell Deadline that Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin will write Deadpool 3, with Ryan Reynolds set to reprise his role as Marvel superhero.

I had book meetings over the past month with Reynolds recently meeting with a handful of writers to hear their presentations for the next part.. Ultimately, the studio and Reynolds saw the sisters as the perfect choice for what they wanted. The movie is still in early development, but hiring the Molyneux sisters is the major first step in bringing the next Deadpool movie into production.

This marks the first Deadpool movie as Marvel Studios will work alongside Reynolds and Team Deadpool. Fans will definitely be excited to join Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige after seeing how he helped revamp the Spider-Man franchise after coming to help with the franchise’s creative endeavor..

Besides Reynolds’ return, there are many factors being worked on, but sources say the movie is still expected to be rated R like the previous two minutes.. It is also expected to have a new director; David Leitch, who led the second photo, has a tighter schedule through to 2021. Insiders say the door is open for Leach’s return as it is not known when this movie will begin production, but since it was not part of the writer’s search, it seems unlikely that he will return to Part 3.
