Learn it. Know it. Live it. Tonight, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, and more stars will reunite for a Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read as part of Dane Cook’s Feelin’ A-Live series. The hourlong event will raise money for Fast Times star Sean Penn and Ann Lee’s CORE nonprofit, which provides coronavirus testing and relief services in the U.S., and the REFORM Alliance, a criminal justice reform organization.
Given the star-studded lineup for tonight’s event, everyone from die-hard Fast Times fans to casual pop culture viewers should be sure to tune in. When is the Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read? How do I watch the Fast Times at Ridgemont High reading? Read on to find out!
The Fast Times at Ridgemont high table read will go live tonight, Thursday, September 17. The event was originally scheduled to air on August 21, but it was postponed due to “insurmountable” technical difficulties.
Tonight’s fundraiser event will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. It is expected to last one hour and will include scenes from the 1982 cult classic and a special message from director Amy Heckerling and writer Cameron Crowe.
There are a few different ways to tune in to the Fast Times table read tonight. The reading will stream live on the CORE Facebook page and TikTok account. The Feelin’ A-Live special will also air on LiveXLive, a free live music and events service.
In addition to Jennifer Aniston-Brad Pitt reunion, the Fast Times at Ridgemont High reading will feature Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Shia LaBeouf, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Jimmy Kimmel, John Legend, Ray Liotta, and Dane Cook.
The event’s cast has kept their parts under wraps, but there’s one thing we know for sure: Sean Penn will not be reprising his iconic role as Jeff Spicoli. “I’m very confident in the new guy,” Penn told People of his table read substitute.
As of now, there are no plans to reboot Fast Times at Ridgemont High, so the live table read will have to suffice!
If tonight’s table read has you feeling some type of way, Fast Times at Ridgemont High is currently available to stream on Starz. It is also available for rent or purchase on Amazon, iTunes, Vudu, YouTube, and Google Play.
