Police in Honolulu seized 20 slot machines and money during a raid on an illegal gambling hall in Kalihi on Thursday night

Officers from the District 5 Crime Reduction Unit, with the help of the Narcotics Division / Vice President, executed a search warrant in the playroom on Auiki Street at night

Police arrested a 50-year-old man at the site shortly after midnight today on suspicion of promoting gambling and possession of gaming devices

Officers also issued 27 citations to people in the game room for breaking the mayor’s emergency order for rallies

Honolulu currently falls under Tier 2 of the Phased Reopening Strategy which allows up to five people from different households to participate in social gatherings both indoors and outdoors
