« First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has helped make my college career a memorable one, » wrote Bailey. « Thank you to all of my coaches and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make Saturdays possible in Jack Trice. First of all, I want to thank God for giving me the gifts and talents to play football. Many thanks to Coach Campbell for believing in me and giving life lessons on and off the field. Thank you to my friends and family for supporting me and traveling to games near and far. I will always think of Saturday at Jack as my favorite part of the week. It’s been a big climb for my brothers and you boys forever. After much thought, prayers, and conversations with my family, I have decided to take off my cardinal and gold uniform and enter the NFL draft. I’m looking forward to starting a new chapter in life and I wouldn’t have made it without #cyclonenation. ”

« Obviously JaQuan played his best football of his career in his senior year, » said Campbell. “I think it was very positive to come back from this injury, get back to work and continue to grow. ”

« Well what I’ve heard from all of my teammates over the last four or five years is that I’m his stepson. “Me, just like me personally, since Coach Campbell called me on day one, it’s been like this crazy, fair connection. It was just a boom. It was like I knew this man. Something crazy was going on. But it was just what I was, that’s my type. It is hard to explain. It’s almost like a father-son relationship. You know what I mean? It’s just all love man. He and me have had some tough, tough times. But I have always put all my trust in him and he has never steered me in the wrong direction. He never lied to me or got me wrong. So I really never had to question him or anything. So we always only built over time. So this is just my type. ”
