Johnny Depp will no longer be part of Warner Bros. Future of the Fantastic Beasts franchise
In a letter posted to Instagram, Depp confirmed that following a recent UK libel decision – which the actor lost after suing tabloid The Sun over an article describing him as a ‘woman drummer Claiming he abused his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard – Warner Bros. asked her to resign from the upcoming entry in her Harry Potter spin-off, despite Depp’s decision to appeal the decision
