According to Fox News, Walter Wallace Jr, 27, was gunned down Monday night after accusing Philadelphia Police Department officers with a deadly weapon
Local law enforcement reportedly responded to a routine call upon arrival and found Wallace wandering the streets of his Cobbs Creek neighborhood in Philadelphia, waving a knife
Video released shortly after the incident showed friends and neighbors watching Wallace’s mother attempt to convince him to drop the knife Seeming to avoid it in favor of indicting PPD agents, who first could be seen retreating, the suspect was eventually shot several times
Wallace was then rushed to hospital by responders and quickly pronounced dead Violent Black Lives Matter protests erupted in the city shortly after
The resulting riots would set a series of vehicles on fire, several looted storefronts and double-digit injuries from law enforcement, protesters assaulting police with lobed objects and even bringing down a police officer in a truck
Ninety-one arrests were reported the next morning and luckily all police officers are expected to recover from their various injuries

Recovery is not expected to recover, however, is the long list of Democrats who peddled the absurd tale that this year’s wave of race riots was made up of ‘mostly peaceful’ protests in favor of social justice
At least, that’s about all that can be learned from the left-wing media’s transparent attempt to suppress the stories and images associated with this abundant violence
An exclusive Axios report in September says the series of race riots last spring over the death of George Floyd by an officer resulted in more than $ 1 billion in damage across the country
This figure is an insurance industry record – and completely ignores the number of deaths, injuries and unknown economic fallout for major metropolitan areas in America
Of course, the number that worries everyone given the fast-approaching 2020 presidential election is the number of votes this summer of civil unrest that will remove the far-left Democratic Party that has fomented and forgiven violence
This number appears to be unprecedented, with a September AP-NORC poll showing a dramatic 15% drop in support for Black Lives Matter in the past three months
Unsurprisingly, supporters on both sides of the aisle are tired of seeing their neighborhoods troubled by riots
Focusing on riots and destruction of property rather than underlying grievances has in the past been used to stigmatize large swathes of people protesting against lynching, police brutality or for justice racial, dating back to the urban uprisings of the 1960s (2/5)

And in response, it seems, the left-wing establishment media decided to interfere on behalf of the Democratic Party, covering the majority of its riot coverage and manipulating the rest
Otherwise, why would the Associated Press so blatantly demand that other media stop « focusing on riots and destruction of property » at a time like this?
Make no mistake, this has nothing to do with attempts to focus on the ‘underlying grievance’ of the black community. It has everything to do with looking away from a story that passes the American left as an accomplice in murder and chaos
A week before polling day, riots like these are bad optics for the DNC
