Ahead of the 2020-21 season starting next week, training camps have now been opened across the NHL, and the Ottawa Senators are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tim Stuetzle, No.. 3 Overall selection in the 2020 NHL draft.

Stuetzle is currently under quarantine in Ottawa after Germany was eliminated from Russia in the quarter-finals of the IIHF Junior World Championship in 2021 on Saturday. The prospect has to quarantine itself until next week.

Stuetzle is currently third among the points at the WJC 2021 with 10 points (5 G, 5 A) in five games, and he was one of the main reasons why Germany made it as far as she did in the tournament.

Stuetzle is just a hell of a lot of fun when he’s on the ice, and you can sense that something incredible is going to happen when he has the puck on his stick in the offensive zone.

That kind of high-end ability, coupled with a very high cap, means the Ottawa Senators could very well have a cornerstone of the elite franchise in their hands, and Stuetzle could really be the spark that drives them Franchise needs.

It will be a real crowd puller in Ottawa, especially when the fans are allowed to return to the arena. His ability to take over a game and only dominate it was perfectly demonstrated in Germany’s victory against Switzerland, when Stuetzle scored two goals and three assists for five points.

While it will be a week before he can join the Ottawa Senators for camp, it will be absolutely worth the wait as Tim Stuetzle takes to the biggest stage to show what he’s made of and what the NHL is prepared for should.
