Monday’s blind auditions episode of’ The Voice ‘Season 19 began with a whopping 31 of the top 40 artists having already found their home on one of four teams. coaches (Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson) had acquired eight competitors each, while the fourth (John Legend) was just behind with seven members Only a trio of artists had impressed the panel enough to become four-chair towers, with Tamara Jade and Cami Clune joining Team Legend and Desz choosing Team Kelly. With the blind auditions now over, did tonight’s two-hour episode have more four-chair moments?

20h00m – « Previously on ‘The Voice’! » In the fourth episode, six other performers jumped into battle when the coaches hit their « I want you » buttons Kelly gave Tanner Gomes her purple jacket, Blake turned her chair for Sam Stacy and Payton Lamar, Gwen shot his party rifle at Larriah Jackson and Van Andrew, and John shook Olivia Reyes’ virtual hand. Did one of them seem like you had what it takes to win the « Voice Trophy « at the end of the season? But enough talk of last week – let’s start with tonight’s episode!
8:01 pm – The evening started with Julia Cooper, a singer songwriter from Ohio who has been exploring her musical side since the age of 5 For her audition, she took « Alaska » by Maggie Rogers and got three quick laps from John, Gwen and Kelly For some reason Blake held on despite Kelly and John exclaiming « wow » and dancing throughout Julia’s performance Kelly and John fought to get Julia in their team while Gwen sat back down until she could give her own talk about Julia’s unique quality Eventually Julia went with John, leaving him with only two spots to fill
8:11 pm – Next up, Apropos, an artist who feels he can tap into many different genres including hip hop, soul and country in order to “hit the coaches” with his energy and his power, Apropos chose « I Heard It Through the Grapevine » as his audition song Unfortunately, none of the coaches were moved to press his buttons John told him he was a good singer, but that his choices of melody were too narrow to show what her voice could do Kelly said she was about to press her button, but it was too « linear » and had to show the range
8:22 pm – At 6’7 ″ tall, John Sullivan came on stage ready to grab a trainer’s attention with his portrayal of Jim Croce’s “Operator” In Search of a Vocalist from Songwriter type for his team, Blake was the first to turn his chair, but was quickly challenged by Gwen Blake told her he sounded like a ‘perfect storyteller’ with a good tone and Gwen said her voice put her at peace In the end big went with big and John chose to be there ‘Blake’s penultimate artist
