A McDonald’s employee claims to have evidence that all cups of the fast food chain contain the same amount of drink in the employee’s video.
TikTok users shared their anger after a video emerged that claimed to show that all the different sizes of McDonald’s beverage cups contain exactly the same amount of drinks
The clip, viewed more than 1, shows 6 million times that an employee of the fast food chain pours coke into a small 16-ounce cup of McDonald’s, before turning the entire contents into a medium-sized 21-ounce cup and then transferring the drink to a large 30-ounce cup. Ounce
Each time, the drink appears to fill the cup upwards, giving the impression to the viewer that all containers contain equal quantities despite the obvious difference in size
So far, the video has over 12,000 comments, most of them from skeptics who think that an amount of the drink was actually poured into the glasses before filming the trick.
Crucially, the video never reveals the bottom of the mug which clearly shows there is some liquid inside.
One person wrote, “This is what happens when you fill up each cup a little and pour more into it,” while another agrees to add, “You can at least make it less clear that you have filled the cups.”
But there seem to be some users playing around, claiming the video is the real deal
Each time the no-ice liquid fits into the next volume except for only a few centimeters at the top
A former employee said, “I’ve worked at McDonald’s and that’s right.” Always say there is no snow or ice on the side (in another cup) and only order small pieces, not middle.
They wrote: « Either way, you will fill the whole cup with ice and leave no room for the drink itself »
« So, does anyone know they put some coke in the cups before filling the cups? » Post Books
The TikTok video that has been viewed more than 16 million times and impressed and angered viewers who said the cups were pre-filled
