Vernon Davis and his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd failed to make the DWTS Season 29 Top 10

Vernon Davis and Peta Murgatroyd reflect on their Dancing with the Stars experience after saying goodbye to season 29 of the reality show

In Monday’s live episode of the ABC reality TV dance competition series, Davis was knocked out along with Murgatroyd after being in the final two alongside Johnny Weir and Britt Stewart

Soon after hearing the results, the former NFL star, 36, and Murgatroyd spoke to Entertainment Tonight about their reaction to the news and why they feel grateful for the time. they spent together on the show

“Life is all about the unexpected,” Davis told the store “But it’s great, you know? Had a great trip I met Peta and Nelly even though there is COVID [concerns] being able to hang out with these guys during the show was awesome « 

Murgatroyd, 34, also expressed his gratitude for Davis, noting that the two « had a great time » together and that they « love each other very much »

“We had a lovely bond that formed and I really hope we can just carry it on in our lives now and forever,” she continued “It was a pleasure to know him and know his stories and his life « 

On Tuesday, the couple appeared on Good Morning America where they shared similar feelings about their journey as dance partners

When asked how Murgatroyd would rate Davis as a partner off the dance floor, the professional dancer gave him a « 20 out of 10 »

« He’s an amazing human. I will miss him so much, he’s kind, he’s patient, he’s resilient and he works so hard and I’ve had the best partner this season, » she continued.

« Honestly, there are a lot of people who have a little dance experience and a little dance experience, it’s difficult but I’ll say I love Justina [Machado] and Sasha [Farber ], I really do, « Murgatroyd said » I think they’re someone to beat «
