The National Dog Show has been a holiday television award for nearly two decades, right up there at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This year won’t be any different. The annual dog show puts different groups of dogs through their paces in front of the judges and selects a best-in show.
It will be broadcast from 12pm to 2pm. m. today on NBC. You can see it on Fubo or Hulu
This year, for the first time, three new dog breeds from the American Kennel Club will compete against each other.
They are the Belgian Laekenois in the herding group; the barbet in the sports group; and the Dogo Argentino in the working group.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the dog show will have no spectators and will be limited to around 600 dogs and their handlers compared to April 2. 000 in the past few years.
« John O’Hurley and David Frei will be re-hosting after hosting the National Dog Show since it first aired. Mary Carillo will also be back for more commentary, analysis, and behind-the-scenes insight into one of the world’s oldest dog shows. ”
