In one of the last episodes of the season, Sumit and Jenny faced Sahna and Anil. The tense discussion began with Sahna asking her son to come home with her. But when he refused and announced his plans to marry Jenny, Sahna and Anil mocked Jenny about their age.
« Do you like that, this young kid? » Sahna asked Jenny. “A son younger than your daughter? You have a relationship with him. Too bad – you should think of him as your son and treat him like he is your son, not a potential husband. ”
But Jenny had none of it. She insisted that she loved Sumit despite her age difference and refused to further justify it.
