World News – USA – Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners make Real Madrid playmaker Isco their main target

Arsenal reportedly made Isco their leading transfer target ahead of the January window.

The Gunners could try to bolster their roster when the market reopens on New Years Day.

Mikel Arteta’s side have eased pressure on the under-attack Spaniard with two Premier League wins and are now set to consider a move for Isco.

According to Metro, Arsenal want to borrow the awkward Real Madrid playmaker until the end of the season.

Isco has fallen out of favor at the Santiago Bernabeu and is dying to leave next month.

The 28-year-old wants to play football regularly in the second half of the season before the European Championship.

Spanish publication AS report that Isco would rather stay in the league, with Sevilla the favorites to secure his signature.

But Arsenal remain on the hunt and could have an advantage if Madrid don’t want to loan the midfielder to a domestic rival.

However, he has hinted that Arsenal are ready to hit the market despite having secured two wins.
