Actress Tanya Roberts has died. Best known for her role as a Bond girl and on « That ’70s Show, » Roberts died on Sunday after a brief hospital stay, ET learned. She was 65 years old.
She died on Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, and the cause of death had nothing to do with COVID-19, according to Roberts’ rep.
The actress allegedly went for a walk with her dogs on Christmas Eve and collapsed on her return home, according to TMZ. She was ventilated after a hospital stay but never recovered. The outlet reports that the actress didn’t appear sick in the days leading up to her breakdown.
Roberts – née Victoria Leigh Blum – began her career as a model before joining the film in 1975 with the horror film « Forced Entry ». «
After a string of television pilots and a string of roles in fantasy films, she appeared in her most iconic role, starring Stacey Sutton in the 1985 James Bond film « A View to a Kill » alongside Roger Moore in his last appearance as the iconic British spy.
She was also known for her recurring role as Midge Pinciotti on « That ’70s Show » and for her role as Julie Rogers on the fifth and final season of « Charlie’s Angels » in 1980.
