Liverpool star Curtis Jones posted a humble page in a Q&A on the club’s official website, stating that he was realistic about his role in the Red’ squads.
In team selection, the young Scouser stated that Mo Salah, Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane are good starters as he gains experience.
Jones has been a revelation since graduating from the academy a few years ago. He got stronger and stronger and believed in himself as much as his fans.
« I’ve improved a lot, » he told Liverpoolfc. com. « But the person I am and the player I think I can become, I still wouldn’t really say I am an established first-team player. « .
« People like Mo, Sadio, Hendo – I think they’re the ones I would count as established players who know they’ll be playing every week. « . I gain experience for someone like me.

« There were some injuries so I was called and I took my chance well. But the players are coming back now, so I just have to keep performing well and giving the gaffer and staff something to think about – and hopefully he can keep me in and around the team. ”
While we think Jones is a little undercut his role on the roster this season, it’s nice that the kid is showing the extended roster the respect he deserves.
The young Scouser has lately preceded Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and maybe even Naby Keita and has effectively replaced Adam Lallana.
It’s clear the teen’s talent and they are the perfect club to nurture those skills and embed themselves into the structure of Liverpool – just like Trent Alexander-Arnold.
