World News – USA – Ex-Hillsong Pastor Carl Lentz ‘alleged « multiple affairs » revealed in leaky records, the report said

The disgraced Hillsong Pastor Carl Lentz reportedly had several affairs but could still pay off after being released from the mega-church, a leaked record shows.

Lentz, who served as a one-time spiritual advisor to Justin Bieber, admitted in November that he cheated on his wife, Laura, after he was fired from his job. Now, Page 6 said it had received a record of Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston claiming that Lentz had many affairs prior to his scandal.

In the alleged bomb shot from Nov. . At a conference between church donors and senior executives in Houston, it could be said that an employee found Lentz ‘ »very compromising » text messages on his laptop and confronted him.

« [We] drove across town to speak to and confront Carl, and that was the beginning of the process we are currently in, » Houston said. “When we’re talking about an affair. These issues were more than a matter, they were meaningful. And at least bad moral behavior had declined historically, but not necessarily these matters. ”

« If it were just a moral failure, maybe it would have been possible … to work our way through and see a period of recovery … but the way my relationship with Carl was … and then [add] the major one The nature of the moral issues meant I believed, and our global board believed, [the only option] was to fire Carl, ”he added on the alleged record.

The Hillsong founder reportedly went on to say they had problems with Lentz long before he was fired. Houston noted that the embarrassed pastor was « a difficult man » to talk to as « it was always defensive » and that the blame would be placed on the other person.

« The meetings weren’t easy, and by the end of summer I had the feeling that Carl and Laura’s time in New York was coming to an end … not just general narcissistic behavior, manipulation, mistreatment of people … I sometimes think others hurtful things, the breaches of trust that come with lying, constantly lying … basically broken trust, ”Houston said.

Hillsong director George Aghajanian also reportedly said in the recording that they are working on a severance package for Lentz, but the amount is not finalized.

Lentz’s wife, Laura, resigned from her position in Hillsong after the Church fired her husband. The two are now going to therapy sessions to rebuild trust and working on their marriage, as previously reported.
