Not a big surprise, but according to a radio report on Sunday afternoon, Howie Roseman is not going anywhere.
Jay Glazer of FOX NFL Sunday reported that Roseman, executive vice president and general manager of the Eagles, will be joining us for the 22nd time. Times will be in the team.

Roseman has been increasingly criticized for his poor drafts and roster management, but he also owns Jeff Lurie’s most trusted asset within the company. It was always hard to imagine that Lurie actually fired Roseman, who originally joined the team in 2000 as a salary cap intern.
« Howie Roseman, he seems to be in the hot seat? He’s not, he’s going to return, « said Glazer.
Roseman first became General Manager of Eagles in 2010, was demoted in 2015 when Chip Kelly took over the GM duties, and in 2016 his roles as general manager were restored when Kelly was fired.
Roseman was named Executive of the Year in 2017 after building the Super Bowl championship team, but the Eagles have only drafted one Pro Bowl player in the five drafts since Roseman came back to power, and that’s the quarterback Carson Wentz, whose future with the team is in the air.
Glazer didn’t elaborate on whether Roseman’s role could change in 2021. There has been speculation that Lurie might bring in a hiring guru to have the final say on draft and all roster decisions, and give Roseman the ability to manage salary caps and contracts.
But that is considered unlikely. If the decision for Roseman has already been made, it seems almost certain that he will return with GM strength intact.
