The Bills and Patriots meet up for an AFC East showdown against MNF, but the game doesn’t have the same hype as it usually does. A win for the bills would make sense and would place them on No.. 1 bring. 2 seeds in the AFC. However, this is the first regular season game since 2000 that the Patriots know they’ve already been eliminated from the postseason. This is a tough game for betting angles so I keep it pretty easy on both bets. We’ve been waiting for the disappointment point for Buffalo for weeks and it just doesn’t seem to happen. The last time the bills were actually won in the single digits was against these very patriots in week 8. They lost « Hail Mary » in Arizona through a very fluffy game, but other than that, the Bills won five in a row, all with 10 points or more. I’m not going to bother this team with the chance to hit the No.. 1 to jump open. 2 seeds in the AFC this week. Meanwhile, the patriots are in unknown territory and are playing a completely meaningless game. The defense is without key pieces and Cam Newton simply cannot move that offense. I’ll buy half the point to hit the touchdown just in case.

One of the reasons the Patriots aren’t still fighting for a place in the playoffs is because of the QB game. Newton was downright terrible. I looked at several props to fade it and we managed to go yards against the rams. In the end, it feels safest just to play under its overall production, and that can be done on DKSB if we focus on fantasy points. Cam has scored 12 or less Fantasy Points in three of their last four games and there is still a real chance the team will turn to Jarrett Stidham to end the season. It doesn’t make sense why Newton started this game in the first place. Between the bad game and the potentially threatening QB change, I’ll shoot under almost every camera. I just think this is the safest thing to do on the board.
