In the 2019 parliamentary elections, the seat remained with the election of Rep. Republican occupied. Brady Williamson from Oxford.

« I’m so sorry Mississippi lost such a great man, » said Williamson. “Nolan has been so kind in the short time I have known him, from his miles on these roads for schools, work, and campaigns to years of local business and serving in the Mississippi House and Senate.

« The congressman and his wife, mrs. Kay made a huge impact on this area and this state, ”said Roberts. “For me, they gave me hope that you could be in politics and still be a good person. He was always ready to greet with a smile and help when he could. The state as a whole, and northern Mississippi in particular, are better places because of it. He will truly be missed by everyone. ”
