Lil Wayne’s sneaky attack on Donald Trump’s re-election approval may have revitalized the president’s grassroots base, but even some of his most loyal fans weren’t sure to continue to support a rapper who appeared to be the hateful Approves the behavior of the Supreme Racist.

For some people, the post immediately sparked bad memories of the shocking image of a smiling Weezy standing next to Trump in front of American flags while both of them showed big smiles and held up « thumbs up » signs.

The whole discussion about “No Ceilings 3” is one thing. The proof, however, will lie in the proverbial pudding when streaming numbers are released to give a clearer indication of the kind of reception Lil Wayne’s latest music is getting.

We don’t have to wait too long as Complex has reported that No Ceilings 3 will be released the day after Thanksgiving on Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year.

Wayne conveniently didn’t mention Trump when telling Complex why he’d dropped his latest full-length project since his « Funeral » album in January.

After all the talk about rappers who supported Trump, Lil Wayne seems determined to avoid that danger by trying to reunite his fans with new music. Only time will tell if it works.
