As the Wizards prepare to go to court in their first preseason promotion of the 2020-2021 season, fans had the chance to warm up a finally healthy Kevin Durant in a Brooklyn Nets uniform.

In his first game action since breaking his Achilles injury in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals while he was still a member of the Golden State Warriors, Durant was spotted warming up ahead of Sunday’s opener against Washington.

Durant signed a sign and trade deal with the Nets that sent security guard D’Angelo Russell to the Golden State before Russell was sold to the Timberwolves for Andrew Wiggins. After 18 months of rehabilitation and rest, Durant will play with his new star teammate Kyrie Irving as the power duo aim to shape the Eastern Conference.

Irving, who also signed as a free agent with Brooklyn last off-season, has only played 20 games for the Nets due to a right shoulder problem.
