Tanya Roberts, a former Bond girl and star of That ’70s Show, has died. She was 65 years old.
The actress, who starred in the James Bond flick A View to a Kill and who portrayed Midge Pinciotti on the FOX-era sitcom, previously collapsed while out walking her dogs in December. 24, according to several reports.
Roberts was then rushed to hospital and put on a ventilator, according to TMZ, which reported the news first, before dying later on Sunday.
No cause of death was given, but the point of sale reports that Roberts was not sick in the days prior to her death. TMZ adds that her death was reportedly unrelated to COVID.
Born on October in Victoria Leigh Blum. Sep. 15, 1955, Roberts had a modeling career and appeared in television commercials before getting her most notable film role with A View to a Kill, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Roberts played Stacey Sutton, an American geologist in the 1985 film who is the target of Christopher Walken’s villain Max Zorin. She starred alongside Roger Moore in his last appearance as a legendary British spy.
After A View to a Kill, Roberts took part in other notable films, including the 1987 comedy Body Slam and the 1990 thriller Night Eyes.

In addition to the film, Roberts also played a number of television roles, including playing an angel in ABC’s Charlie’s Angels, where she replaced Shelley Hack and appeared as Julie Rogers on the show’s final season in 1980.
Later in the ’90s, Roberts played a recurring role on the’ 70s show, where she played Donna Pinciotti’s (Laura Prepon) weak mother.
Roberts also starred in Fantasy Island, The Blues Brothers Animated Series, and Eve. Elle played her last role in the 2005 series Barbershop.

In a statement to THR, Robert’s longtime friend and rep, Mike Pingel, spoke openly about the late star, whom he described as « a big heart ». «
