CORSICANA, Texas – A tornado that landed in Corsicana on Wednesday morning knocked down trees and damaged more than a dozen homes.
The Navarro County Office of Emergency Management confirmed the tornado southwest of Corsicana just before 11 a.m.. m. with 50 miles per hour wind.
At least 13 mobile homes were damaged, some roofs were blown off. Trees were also felled.
The tornado, initially believed to be just microbursts, came when a cold front was moving through northern Texas.
Parts of north Texas west of Fort Worth could get a wintry mix with the dropping temperatures on Thursday night.
