President Trump on Monday presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to wrestler Dan Gable, an Iowa legend whom the president described as one of the greatest athletes of all time.

During a campaign event in Iowa in October, Mr.. . Trump had promised to present the award to Mr.. gable.
At the ceremony on Monday, Mr.. Trump referred to Mr.. . Gable’s notable college career, losing only once to wrestling for the Iowa State Cyclones, the last match of his three-year college career, likening it to his ongoing legal challenges to his own loss in November. 3 choice.
