Tyler Hubbard tested positive for COVID-19 just before the CMA Awards in NashviIle earlier this month, and the Florida Georgia Line member spent over a week quarantined on his tour bus in his driveway. He is now back with his family and was recently offered a health update for his record label stating that he is « fine ». «

« To be honest, I feel really happy. I was able to spend 13 days alone on the bus, which was bittersweet. I missed my family like crazy but I didn’t feel awful so I had to make the most of it. I wrote a number of songs and made the most of the time. And it kind of flew by, but I feel great. «

In August, Hubbard broke his Achilles tendon and fractured a bone in his ankle while doing dirt biking and surgery. He is now on the mend and out of his orthopedic boot, despite admitting that his foot healing was « a process ». «

« I didn’t do my physical therapy the way I should be in quarantine, so I’ll come back to that and get this old thing working again, » he said. « But yeah, I’m really grateful and really blessed and excited. And I feel like we’re at the end of a crazy season and at the beginning of a great one, for sure. It may be another crazier, but I think it’s going to be great. «

After reuniting with Mrs. Hayley and her three children, 2-year-old daughter Olivia and sons Luca, 1, and Atlas, 2 months, Hubbard celebrated with a photo of a family dinner and posted a shot of himself, himself Woman and children at the table. Each member of the group had two arms raised except for Hayley, who was holding atlas.

« After 13 days on the tour bus in the driveway, I’m finally free and back in the house, » Hubbard wrote. « Family dining has never felt so good. So grateful. «

The Georgian native and his family took a short trip to California over the weekend after Nelly Florida invited Georgia Line to perform her most recent collaboration, « Lil Bit », at Good Morning America. Hubbard’s bandmate Brian Kelley failed to do the show, but Hubbard assured fans that all was well with the duo, which recently spread rumors of a breakup and signed a new multi-year tour deal with Live Nation.
