Somehow the funniest part of this whole saga is, that the singer actually tried to play his UshBucks on social media over a week ago.
Usher posed with a suitcase full of « money » and uploaded a series of photos to Instagram showing a transparent suitcase full of real Showing money. However, if you zoom in, you can see that these are the same UshBucks the singer allegedly tried to distribute around the club.
While Usher has not brought the matter up, TMZ reports that an alleged Sapphire representative claims the artist gave real money and even tipped the club staff « fairly generously ».
This club rep also claims that Usher actually spent « thousands » on the dancers and bottle service, with the UshBucks only serving as « a bit of a gag » staying on stage and « promoting his new Vegas residence ».
Usually the excuse « It was just a joke » is seldom believable, but Usher has a residence in Las Vegas that Set to begin on July 16, and all of the Usher bills are actually promoting Usher: The Vegas Experience.
Honestly, it’s actually a pretty smart move. What could be nicer than making the whole world laugh because you paid dancers with UshBucks? Exactly. Nothing.
