It seems like Lionel Messi’s middle son – Mateo – is finally done trolling his legendary father as the five-year-old passionately celebrated his father’s wonderful free-kick goal against Granada.
Lionel showed that one was stacked 9 man wall in Granada, including a man lying down to prevent a low free kick, still not enough to keep him from drilling the ball into the bottom corner.
The six-time’s wife Ballon d’Or winner, Antonella, took to Instagram to share a clip of the couple’s children in which Lionel appeared from outside the box.
Mateo was completely frozen when he was frozen on the TV screen. The five-year-old burst into joy when he pumped his fist, jumped around and even stomped solemnly on the floor.
Mateo, who previously trolled his legendary father in funny moments, celebrated together with his younger brother Ciro in beautiful scenes.

Scenes like this are absolutely beautiful to see, it’s a shame that Messi’s three sons – Thiago, Mateo and Ciro – can’t see their father from the stands in his final season in Barcelona.
It there is no doubt that this will be the clip that brings Lionel the most delight after a brilliant performance for Ronald Koeman’s side tonight.
