Mansfield’s best, Violent Soho, has announced that they will finally be back on the live stage with a headline show in their hometown in May.
It will be on Riverstage on Saturday May 1st takes place in Brisbane and marks the band’s first shows since the release of their newest album, 2020’s Everything Is A-OK.
Given that the album was released shortly after a global pandemic started, it means they many of these songs will be performed for the first time in front of a live audience. The show is sponsored by Tired Lion and Seathru.
Speaking of Music Feeds in April of last year, James Tidswell said he was excited about the prospect of bringing Everything Is A-OK songs to a live audience (at some point) .
“For us, a large part of our band conveys live what these songs are. We communicate really well and connect well with our crowd and that connection adds something to the songs, it’s a big part of it for us, a big part of the magic. We were all really looking forward to playing these songs live and we were really excited to make those connections. “
