Norwich City striker Sebastian Soto forgot a night after his mistake by Mexico’s U-23 players in a 1-0 loss to the US U-23s in the qualifying race for the Olympics.

Both countries had already qualified for the Concacaf semi-finals, but the USA are facing a win against Honduras or Canada this weekend to get one of the last two places for the 16-man -Men’s tournament in Tokyo to secure Olympics later that year.

Soto was replaced for Jason Kreis’ side after 61 minutes of defeat on his first start at the tournament, and the head coach admitted it was the City youngster’s fault afterward .
