Wayne Milera’s injury problems continued, and the hapless Crow suffered a serious knee injury in Adelaide’s Scratch Match against Port Adelaide.
The 23-year-old, who was out with a foot injury for most of last season, was suspected worn off the floor on a patellar tendon rupture.
While scans are still required, the injury is expected to rule Milera out for the year.
Milera has had a shocking string of injuries since being over the 11th election in 2015 Draft came to the Crows and only played 62 games in that time.
The fast defender suffered a stress fracture in his foot in the second round of last season and had to spend the entire campaign of the Crows on the sidelines.
Milera is supposed to impressed this summer and was due to play for Adelaide midfield ahead of his devastating injury setback this year.
