Thiago Alcantara, who made his Anfield debut for Liverpool at Manchester United on Sunday, is one possibility, Jürgen Klopp confirmed.
The number 6 has been limited to five appearances for the Reds since their arrival from Bayern Munich due to the knee injury in October, all of which were gone.
But now fit and after his return to Klopp’s team, could Thiago will play at his new home for the first time when United arrives in L4 for a top fight in the Premier League.
« We’ll see, » said the Liverpool manager. « The most important thing is that he is fit, trained and good.
» He has now had 90 and 45 minutes in the last two games. So we’ll see if he can play what position he’ll be playing because obviously there are different options and all that stuff.
« But it’s really good to have him with you now because he’s a really good one Guy and obviously an exceptional football player. It’s obviously like a new signing.
« Now he’s here and let’s hope it stays that way for a long, long, long time. »
