Yes, it turns out Laverne Cox is just as much in Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton period as the rest of us! Cox, who starred in the Golden Globe nominated film Promising Young Woman, is clearly putting on the same shows as the rest of us. Cox previously raved about her love for Bridgerton, and she held out during E! The Golden Globes virtual red carpet is not going back. Speaking to Fab Five’s Karamo Brown, Cox revealed that her double pigtails, the work of hairdresser Kim Kimble, were inspired by the romantic drama. « I gave a little moment, » she said. Cox paired the updo with a stunning red dress designed by Thai Nguyen with sleeves that brought her own drama.
But in case Regé-Jean wants to slip into Cox’s DMs, she made it clear that they are happy together at the moment. But their love for the show lives on!
