In the meantime, the inner parts of « It’s a Sin » have gotten to the Old Wentworth High School, which was converted into a studio.

The protests were filmed in Bolton, with Le Mans Crescent behind Bolton Town Hall being converted into 1980s London.

Keeley plays the mother of Olly Alexander’s character Ritchie and her family lives on the Isle of Wight .

The series creator Russell T Davies previously said he chose the locations for personal reasons when he grew up in Swansea and moved to Manchester in 1987.

Russell is now the patron of the George House Trust, the largest HIV and AIDS charity in the Northwest.
