The Real Housewives of New York cast were glad Heather Thomson decided to stop filming with them after quarreling with Leah McSweeney at Ramona Singer’s house, a source said Monday / p> « Heather was a bit of a Debbie Downer, » the insider sniffed after reports came out that Thomson stopped filming season 13 in disgust over the altercation. « And besides, nobody trusted her for everything she talked about in the press after she left the show. »
The 50-year-old Thomson stirred the pot last September by insulting actress Sonja for plastic surgery Morgan hurled. She said she liked her « old face » better during an appearance on « Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. »
She also made fucking comments against cast member Luann de Lesseps on an episode of her podcast « In My Head With Heather. » Thomson « .
It wasn’t clear what started Thomson’s fight with McSweeney, but McSweeney called her a « Karen » in the trailer.
Thomson joined « RHONY » in season 5 and left at the end of season 7 in 2015. After she left, she appeared throughout the series, but has never returned as a ‘friend’.
« Basically, she thought she’d just jump in and be part of the group, but she just had that The show dragged and the show used to get press for itself, « sniffed the insider. “There’s a line you don’t cross. It’s just kind of desperate.”
The insider added that “it just didn’t work,” and Thomson doesn’t fit well with the cast that newcomer Eboni K is a part of Williams (37), McSweeney (38), Singer (64), Morgan (57) and de Lesseps (55) belong.
The 13th season of « The Real Housewives of New York » will be on May 4th premiered at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
