Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com Live WWE Fastlane Viewing Party. Today’s show comes from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

– The WWE Fastlane Kickoff Pre-Show opens from the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida as Kayla Braxton greets us. She is joined by Peter Rosenberg and WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Jerry Lawler. They reveal that Mustafa Ali will air against WWE United States Champion Riddle at the kickoff tonight. They drop the rest of the card and Shane McMahon vs Braun Strowman is promoted again. We’re going to a promo video for Sheamus versus Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred match.

The panel goes with McIntyre to win tonight. Kayla sends us on a break. We come back and the panel is talking about today’s kick-off for the WWE Women’s Tag Team title. Back from another break, we get a video package for Randy Orton against Alexa Bliss. We’re getting more hype tonight, including a video about Apollo Crews versus WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E. Sonya Deville joining the panel discussing the match. Deville and Rosenberg go with Big E to keep while Lawler and Booker pick Apollo. We’re taking another break. The panel is now discussing Shane McMahon versus Braun Strowman. Kayla talks about how Shane sustained a leg injury during training prior to today’s pay-per-view that we posted on the website. Sarah Schreiber is now backstage. She says Shane is being examined by medics and there is still no word on whether he will be medically cleared for wrestling tonight. We get a quick look at Seth Rollins versus Shinsuke Nakamura. Kevin Patrick is now backstage with Rollins. Rollins brags about his « drip » and how popular he is on social media. He continues to be disregarded by Nakamura and is confident of going into today’s game. Rollins leaves and we take another break.

We walk to the ring when Tom Phillips greets us. He is joined by Samoa Joe and Byron Saxton. First up, WWE United States Champion Riddle comes out as « Bro! » Chants begin. Next up is RETRIBUTION – Mustafa Ali with T-BAR, Mace, Slapjack and Reckoning.

We see Ali blaming RETRIBUTION for last week’s loss and requesting this rematch. The bell rings and they measure each other, with Ali going straight to the floor to stall. Ali comes back at 5. They lock up and Ali puts it in the corner. He pulls back as the umpire counts and they trade some aggressive punches. Riddle takes Ali down and brings his knees to his ribs. Puzzle with a large wrench throw and a broton in the middle of the ring for a 2 count while the rest of RETRIBUTION watch.

Riddle kicks Ali and slams, but Ali holds the top rope and struggles. Riddle kicks in the leg and grabs a Broton, but Ali lifts his knees. Puzzle lands hard. Ali barks at RETRIBUTION to make sure they watch how it’s done. Ali maintains control and slams Riddle’s injured leg against the lower rope. Then he kicks him in the ribs to send him to the ground. Ali brings Riddle back and counts 2. They tangle and Ali drops Riddle on his stomach with one big knee. Riddle exits at 2.

Ali now grounds Riddle with body scissors. Ali with more shots in the neck. You get up again, but Ali blocks Bro Derek. In the end, Ali sends Riddle into the turnbuckles twice to count another 2. Ali with a big right hand and a punch in the corner. Riddle fights, but Ali adorns him. Riddle misses a large right hand in the corner. Ali rolls in from the apron and hits a backstabber to count just under 2. Ali is now frustrated.

Ali grounds Riddle with different body scissors as the crowd tries to gather. Riddle struggles and drops Ali into a sleeper. Ali fights and they get up again with strikes going up and down. Puzzle with a pelek kick in the face. Puzzles with running blows in the corner, then the big Exploder-Suplex from the corner. Puzzle with a running kick in the chest, then with a large power bomb, straight into the Final Flash to count just under 2. Riddle goes upstairs to get a floating Bro, but Ali knees up. Riddle lands hard, but Ali is slow to get the cover done.

Ali gets up first and jumps off the second turnbuckle, but Riddle catches him in midair. They exchange attempts and Riddle drops Ali with a large Fisherman’s Buster. Ali leaves at 2. Ali goes straight into the koji clutch. Riddle grabs the lower rope, but Ali pulls it tight. Riddle turns on and the handle is broken, causing Ali to fall on his head. Ali smiles and storms into the corner, but comes across a boot. Riddle goes upstairs, but Ali kills him. Ali swings and misses.

Riddle puts in a sleeper from the corner, lifts Ali off his feet, and then drops him. Riddle picks Ali out of the corner again and hits a super bro Derek to keep the pen.

– After the match, Riddle stands tall with the title as his music strikes. We go to reruns while RETRIBUTION watches and the fans sing « Bro! » now. Riddle goes to the ramp while RETRIBUTION helps Ali to get up. He starts yelling at them, pushing them around again, and blaming them for the loss. Ali turns his anger on Reckoning and orders her to get back in line, but she turns and gets into his favorite and looks him up and down. Reckoning leaves the ring when Ali orders her to come back. She goes on and he says he doesn’t need her. Slapjack is next when Ali yells at him. Ali now blames Mace and T-BAR. They grab him and deliver the High Justice Double Chokeslam in the middle of the ring. We get a replay when Ali rolls around on the mat. T-BAR and Mace go back together.

– We get promo and discussion for today’s WWE Universal Title Match and that’s it for the kickoff.

– The 2021 WWE Fastlane pay-per-view will be with opened a video package. We live off the ThunderDome in Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, while the pyro goes off and the fans cheer. We see the WrestleMania 37 logo hanging high as Michael Cole greets us. He is accompanied at the ring by Corey Graves.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match: Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go straight to the ring and out is first Bianca Belair to one Pop. SmackDown women’s winner Sasha Banks is out next after we see recent events between WrestleMania 37 opponents and Reginald. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are next on the road with Reginald.

Banks and Baszler are tackling it. Banks turns it over and lets Baszler fall in the corner for his knees. Belair comes in and gets to work on Baszler. Baszler defends himself against a quick 2 count. Belair falls back on Baszler for another quick pin attempt. You get tangled up and act even more. Belair tries to tune in for a power bomb, but Baszler is released and nails a stiff knee to the jaw. Baszler is now getting to work on Belair’s hand and fingers. Jax comes in and Baszler is not happy with it. Belair takes Jax to the corner and Banks comes in. Banks slide off Jax’s shoulders and they become tangled. Jax fends off a bank statement attempt and levels the banks for a tight 2 count.

Banks rocks Jax and attacks, but Jax catches her for a power bomb. Belair logs in and saves as Jax didn’t see it. Belair with a low dropkick against Jax for 1 count. Jax overwhelms and sends Belair into the corner, but misses a shot. Jax knocks Belair off the apron. Baszler comes in and the tension continues with Jax. Baszler slams Belair against the edge of the apron while the referee counts. Baszler brings it back and assembles Belair with right and left to keep her from marking. Belair takes off at the 2nd Belair Baszler site as fans try to rally.

Jax comes back and keeps control of Belair. Jax sends her to the corner and hits a big shot. Jax drops a big elbow to count another 2. Baszler comes back and balances Belair with a big running knee in the corner. Baszler remains in control and Jax comes back to further wear down Belair and grounds her again as Banks tries to rally. Belair now defends against both opponents and throws Baszler out. Jax runs into the ring post. Banks and Baszler. Banks discharges and then hits a Meteora on Jax in the corner, then Baszler in the opposite corner. Banks avoids a power bomb from Jax and sends her out after leveling Baszler’s knees. Baszler steps out at 2 a.m.

Belair comes in and goes upstairs after Banks drops Baszler. Belair meets Baszler with a huge 450, but Reginald creates a distraction. Banks jumps off the apron, but Reginald jumps on the apron to avoid it. Belair knocks Reginald off his apron. Baszler with a Kirifuda clutch to Belair from behind. She gets free, but Banks comes by one day and they double Team Baszler. Banks with the template at Baszler, but Jax finally comes in. Belair meets her, but Jax hits her on the template to break it open.

Banks and Belair are now fighting. Banks calls her a rookie and pushes her on the way out. Baszler takes advantage of the fact that he rolls Banks up from behind so that the pen stays while Jax holds Belair’s leg off the ground for a moment.

– After the match, Jax and Baszler celebrate with the titles and walk up the ramp with Reginald during the Music beats. We go to repetitions. Banks and Belair are now fighting in the middle of the ring. Banks puts his finger on Belair’s forehead, then hits her on the mat. Fans boo banks as she leaves the ring with the title in the air. Belair is shocked, but now she starts to cook. Belair points to the WrestleMania 37 sign and tells himself it will be fine. Fans cheer them on as Banks music hits. Banks watches from the stage while Belair keeps pointing at the sign.

– Cole and Graves discuss how Shane McMahon sustained a leg injury while training for Braun Strowman before the show. Shane limps out of the coaching room on a crutch. Elias and Jaxson Ryker approach him with a big idea for WrestleMania that will get Bad Bunny to show him his Grammy Award out of respect. Shane doesn’t want to hear it now. Elias mentions that he does or does whatever is necessary. Shane changes his mind and says he has an idea for her when the camera cuts back on the announcers.

We go back to the ring and first Apollo Crews comes out with his spear while Greg Hamilton does the introductions. WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E is out next.

The bell rings and they immediately start arguing. Big E sends crews to the apron and runs to deliver the big spear. They both fall hard to the ground as the fans cheer. Big E kicks Crews in the face and yells at him while they’re downstairs. The crews fight back on the ground and return to the ring. Big E talks more rubbish while Crews is with half his body under the bottom rope. Big E stamps and mocks crews. Big E is now delivering the Big Apron Splash.

Big E keeps talking about trash and makes another big shot on the apron. The crews slowly stand up as Big E follows. The crews strike first, but Big E cradles him and throws him belly-to-belly across the ring in a big throw. Big E with another throw across the ring. The crews dropkick on their knees out of nowhere. Crews is now getting to work on Big E.

Crews with a large German suplex. He thinks it’s a second German, then a third German in the middle of the ring. Crews holds Big E down and stomps his neck while he talks about trash. Crews with a spinebuster in the middle of the ring and more kicks. The crews go upstairs and hit the frogsplash, but Big E kicks out with 2. The crews go straight to the waist to keep Big E down while the fans start to rally. Crews with a big kick and an enziguri on their faces. Crews with a standing moonsault, but Big E knees up.

Big E storms into the corner but hits the ring post while Crews moves. Big E blocks the spin-out power bomb. Crews block the big ending and roll up Big E for 2. They get tangled on the mat and Big E lands an awkward pinfall to hold him back out of nowhere.

– After the bell, the announcers are even confused, but the referee points to Big E as the winner. The crews immediately attack Big E and unload it to keep him down as a fan boo. Crews with an angle slam and more trash talking while the boos catch up. Crews hit Big E around while he’s downstairs. Crews with another big slap in the face and another angle slam. Crews stands tall above Big E when his music strikes. He puts on Big E and poses with his scarf before heading to the ramp.

– We’re going to a commercial for Fastlane sponsor Old Spice. WWE NXT star Rik Bugez (Eric Bugenhagen) is dressed up as the Old Spice delivery man or Joseph Average. The segment also includes WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth and Akira Tozawa. The delivery man accidentally pinned the truth while trying to clean up an overturned display. The truth is coming right back and curling him up to reclaim the title. Tozawa is not happy after the truth runs away.

We go back to Tom, Joe and Saxton at the ring. You exaggerate Shane McMahon against Braun Strowman. Shane is now in the ring with Elias and Jaxson Ryker. Shane wants Elias to play a song as an obvious preview of WrestleMania 37. Shane is on crutch because of his pre-game training injury. Elias starts playing, but Shane stops him to let him know that he will replace Shane tonight. Ryker and Elias are confused. The music hits and Strowman comes out next. The announcers show us how Shane covered Strowman in slime on RAW.

The bell rings and Strowman tries to attack, but Elias avoids him. Ryker makes for a quick diversion, but Strowman still fends off Elias and into the corner. Strowman unloads himself with big elbows in the corner and starts Elias over the ring. Ryker tries to help Elias, but Strowman rams Elias into the ring post twice. Strowman continues to deal with Elias and knocks him around the ring.

Strowman chokes Elias on the ropes when the referee warns him. Strowman hits the chest with a big blow to knock Elias down again. Strowman storms into the corner, but Ryker pulls Elias safely out of the ring. Strowman runs around the ring, but Ryker crouches, allowing Strowman to collide with Elias. Strowman returns to the ring while the referee counts. Ryker rolls Elias back into the ring before the 10 counts.

Strowman stares at Ryker as Ryker circles the ring. Ryker now gets on his apron and allows Elias to hack Strowman from behind. Elias now with a DDT. Elias goes to the top turnbuckle and delivers the flying elbow to Strowman, but Strowman falls out and Elias can’t believe it. Elias continues to fight, but Strowman turns it around slightly and handles him even more. Strowman with a huge chokeslam in the middle of the ring for a pop. Strowman scoops Elias again and delivers the running powerslam so the pin wins.

– After the match, Strowman stands tall as his music strikes. He immediately leaves the ring and marches up the ramp while we go to the reps. Strowman looks back from the ramp as Elias recovers in the ring.

– The RAW spokespersons show us how Riddle retained the United States WWE title over Mustafa Ali on the Kickoff Pre-Show. We also see RETRIBUTION turn Ali on after the loss. We can now see Riddle riding his scooter backstage. He stops and says what’s wrong with Shinsuke Nakamura. Riddle wishes Nakamura the best of luck on Seth Rollins and asks if he would like to do business with him. Riddle has thousands of business ideas and wants to outsmart these scooters for sale. Nakamura is not interested. Riddle keeps brushing his cousin, a skater named Skeeter, but Nakamura disappears. Riddle finally notices that Nakamura has left and walks away. Nakamura comes back around a corner and continues to warm up.

We go back to the ring and Seth Rollins makes his way outside. Cole and Graves are back in the comment. We see the recent events that led to this game. Shinsuke Nakamura is next out when the pyro goes off. The speakers discuss Rollins’ latest feud with Cesaro.

The bell rings and they lock up with Rollins using a headlock and talking some rubbish. Nakamura drops Rollins’ bowel with one knee and then drops one knee on his face. Rollins enters and retreats to the floor for a breather. Rollins runs right back inside and Nakamura kicks him. Nakamura kicked him for a 2 count.

Nakamura works around with Rollins and reaches from behind, but Rollins pushes him away. Rollins with a kick before slamming Nakamura face first on the mat. Rollins now throws Nakamura to the ground. Rollins follows him and jumps off the apron with one knee to the side of the face. Rollins slams Nakamura face first into the announce table, then rolls him back with a 5. Rollins follows and talks about trash. Rollins with one running knee to the bowel and another.

Rollins delivers a third knee to the bowel. Rollins with a big gutbuster off his shoulders for a close two count. Rollins argues with the umpire about the count. Rollins remains in control and fights Nakamura. Rollins drops Nakamura with one elbow and covers two quick pin attempts. Rollins talks about trash and looks for the Cesaro Swing, but Nakamura fends off it and sends it to the ground. Nakamura nails a baseball slide.

Nakamura with one knee running and one knee back while Rollins is on the apron. They bring it back and Nakamura steps away. Nakamura kicks faster in the corner. Nakamura places Rollins on the upper turnbuckle and delivers a high knee to the intestines to count almost 2.

Rollins fends off Nakamura and avoids the reverse exploder. Rollins finds a boot in the corner. Rollins blocks a boot and sends Nakamura to the floor from above. Rollins runs the ropes, makes a suicide dive, and sends Nakamura into the barrier. Rollins brings it back and hits a diving board knee in the head. Count Rollins with a sling blade for another 2. Now more back and forth. Nakamura avoids a hawk arrow and they deal big blows in the middle of the ring. Rollins drops Nakamura with an enziguri. Rollins reaches for a buckle bomb, but it is blocked. Nakamura kicks Rollins in the corner.

Nakamura attacks in the corner, but is blocked. Nakamura hits the sliding German suplex under the lower rope. Nakamura comes back and waits for Kinshasa, but Rollins blocks it and delivers a buckle bomb. Rollins with a Falcon Arrow for a close 2 count. Rollins is showing some frustration now. Rollins goes to the stomp, but Nakamura catches it and nails a Michinoku driver for a close two count. Nakamura with the reverse exploder and a kip-up for a pop.

Nakamura walks to the Kinshasa, but Rollins rolls it and comes back with a big forearm behind his neck. Nakamura avoids a stomp, but Rollins immediately comes back with a one-of-a-kind kick on the head. Rollins follows with the stomp so the pin wins.

– After the match, Rollins stands tall as his music strikes. We go to reruns and return to Rollins’ ranting.

We go back to the ring and first Drew McIntyre comes for a pop. Drew wears the blue and white war paint of his ancestors. Drew hits the ring and poses as more pyro goes off. Fans sing « Drew! » how he waits for the opponent. The music comes and Sheamus comes next while Mike Rome does the introductions.

The bell rings and they meet in the middle of the ring with Sheamus talking trash. Drew hits first and they do it. Sheamus with a high knee, but Drew tosses him over his head and another over the ring from the corner. Drew clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. Sheamus takes out Drew’s leg on the apron to bring him down. Sheamus works Drew and throws him into the barrier.

Drew counters on the floor with a big overhead from belly to belly on the ring. Drew with a big punch on the announcement table and a right hand. Drew rams Sheamus into the ring post. Drew is now taking apart the announce table. He tries to use the tabletop but drops it, then goes under the ring and throws a couple of kendo sticks into the ring. Sheamus adorns it as soon as he throws it in. Sheamus now runs Drew face first into the ring post. Sheamus swings a kendo stick, but Drew ducks and it hits the post. Drew at the ring with another big overhead toss. Drew hurls Sheamus into the steel ring steps.
