. . BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) - An officer was shot dead at least once in Minnesota Friday night, an official said. Dave Hutchinson, Hennepin County's Sheriff, told KSTP-TV that a Brooklyn Park officer had been shot dead. The officer was taken to North Memorial Hospital and was stable there. It is unclear whether anyone was arrested. The TV station reported that the police had arrested a man at the location of the shooting. Brooklyn Park is a city about ten miles northwest of Minneapolis.
