A storm on Thursday brought a probable tornado and golf-ball sized hail to southern Manitoba.
Funnel clouds were spotted in Kleefeld earlier today. Tornado warnings were issued by Environment Canada this afternoon at 3:38 PM for Steinbach and area. Steinbach was also hit with a mid-day thunderstorm on Thursday. The rain temporarily flooded some streets. There was also a power outage felt in parts of the city. Parts of the southeast, including Steinbach are now under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Environment Canada says the main threats associated with these storms will be large hail and strong, damaging wind gusts.
