SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A robot showed off its basketball talents and abilities by sinking shots without missing any of the first two during halftime of the USA basketball opener against France.
After the first two A robot took over the play areas while the two teams went to the dressing room for a break.
The robot was two meters tall and, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, only hit the net with a free throw, threesome and a half-field shot.
At halftime, Utah Jazz Center Rudy Gobert had nine points, seven rebounds and two assists for France.
Former Weber State star Damian Lillard scored nine points and provided an assist for Team USA.
