Slaven Bilic has made 11 changes and handed West Brom debuts to Branislav Ivanovic and Conor Gallagher as Albion welcome Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup at The Hawthorns this evening.

Defender Ivanovic, who arrived on a free from Zenit St Petersburg earlier this month, and Chelsea loanee Gallagher, who joined at a similar time, will make up a totally changed outfit from the one that took to the field against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Ivanovic’s centre half counterpart Ahmed Hegazi is still not ready to partake and misses out altogether, as does winger Kamil Grosicki – he was omitted along with Charlie Austin from the match-day 18 over the weekend.

As for Brentford, they field former Albion youngster Marcus Forss in their starting XI, while former Albion goalkeeper Luke Daniels is on the bench in place of first choice David Raya.

Said Benrahma and Bryan Mbuemo are both left out of the squad totally, while £10m recruit Ivan Toney is among the substitutes.
