The longtime ESPN reporter leaving for Fox Sports is working on his final College GameDay on Friday before the college football playoff semifinals, and the crew recognized Rinaldi’s contributions on his final appearance on the network.
Rinaldi was best known for his poignant features on GameDay and for working on the sidelines of the national championship game. He also covered tennis and golf.
Rinaldi, who joined ESPN in 2002, will be featured at major Fox Sports events, including the Super Bowl.
