During an appearance on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast, ABC executive Robert Bills said Chrishell was set to become a reality TV star before becoming a daytime television, and ultimately, Mrs. Justin Hartley Producers were so impressed with Chrishell’s charisma and personality that they wanted her to be on the show almost ten years ago.

« She would never remember that, but I had lunch with Chrishell – that was about 10 or 11 years ago – to talk about being ‘The Bachelorette », « Mills said during her interview. “We didn’t know who it was going to be so we were looking for people and our casting director said, ‘Oh you should meet this girl Chrishell Stause she’s amazing And we had this amazing lunch I think it was at the Beverly Hills Hotel and just, she was awesome I was convinced I’m like, « This is ‘The Bachelorette’

While it certainly would have been interesting to see Chrishell in the Bachelorette role, it was the divine intervention of Ellen DeGeneres that helped DeAnna Pappas land the spot.

Mills recalled, « I remember Ellen DeGeneres calling the president of ABC at the time saying, ‘This woman must be The Bachelorette That was before I even said we were going to do a’ Bachelorette. « At that point, it was like, how can we not do that? »

Obviously, Chrishell Stause was destined to become a household name even before it became a household name. Even though daytime TV fans have always recognized her because of her work on DOOL, it is the fact that ‘she married Justin Hartley who helped make her the TV personality she is today
